We want you to be satisfied with our work. This policy explains when refunds may be available for services from Digiators Consulting Services. The terms of a signed proposal, statement of work or agreement for your project take priority over this page.
Project and development services
- Before work starts: if you cancel before work begins, any advance payment is refunded in full, less non-recoverable third-party costs already incurred.
- During delivery: fees for milestones already delivered or in progress are not refundable. Where a milestone has been paid but not started, the amount is refunded or credited.
- After delivery: accepted work is not refundable. We will fix defects that do not match the agreed specification at no extra cost during the warranty period stated in your agreement.
Monthly, dedicated-team and support services
Services billed monthly can be cancelled with the notice period in your agreement (typically 30 days). Fees for the notice period and for work already performed are not refundable. We do not issue prorated refunds for unused time within a billing month unless agreed in writing.
Consulting, audits and workshops
Fees for completed sessions and reports are non-refundable. If we cancel a scheduled session, we will reschedule it or refund the fee for that session.
Recruitment and staffing
- Placement fees are covered by the replacement or refund terms in your recruitment agreement, for example a replacement or partial refund if a candidate leaves within the guarantee period for reasons covered by the agreement.
- Retainers and fees for completed search stages are non-refundable.
- Contract staffing is billed on time actually worked, based on approved timesheets.
When we cannot offer a refund
- Change of mind, or business priorities changing, after work has been delivered.
- Delays or issues caused by missing client inputs, approvals or access.
- Third-party licences, hosting, domains and tools purchased on your behalf.
How to request a refund
Email us at [email protected] within 14 days of the invoice or issue, with your invoice number and the reason for the request. We will review it and reply within 7 business days. Approved refunds are made to the original payment method within 7 to 14 business days.
